Men's Ministry

At Morningside we have an active ministry for men.
Every Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM we have a Men’s K Group that meets at the church for fellowship, discussion, Bible study and prayer. We have frequent Men’s Fellowship Nights at the home of one of our guys.
And we do occasional activities together like a camping trip, rafting or attending a ball game. Once a year we go to the Gridiron Men’s Conference, and several times a year we’ll do service projects together like building the church play ground, constructing a set for a Living Nativity or Crosses in the yard, or roofing the home of a single mother.
The Scripture says in Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” So our goal is to support, challenge, encourage and enjoy each other. And there is always room for one more!
Womens Ministry

Ladies vision/mission statement: Our purpose is to support each other as we grow in our relationship with God. That through this we form a bond and make a positive impact in our homes, church and community.
Youth Ministry

The Youth program of Morningside Baptist Church, codenamed B.L.A.S.T, seeks to help youth grades 6 thru 12, Build Lives Around Spiritual Truths. We desparately want our youth to know all that God wants them to know, so they can be all that God wants them to be, and leave the youth program equipped to do all that God wants them to do. We do this through the study of God's Holy Word and various means of Worship, Fellowship, and Service with an emphasis on discipleship as exampled by our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
BLAST: Basic Training, serves to give our youth an hour of in-depth Bible study every Sunday morning, 9:15-10:15. In this class we seek to open the Scriptures wide and allow our students to plunder the timeless principles found in each passage. We train our students to examine the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse.
BLAST: Elite Training, allows our students to dig even deeper into the things of God in our Sunday evening services, 4:00-6:00 pm. In this setting the youth connect much deeper to one another and the Word over a shared meal provided by the Morningside Baptist Family. Additionaly, there is more time to connect the Truths of the Scripture to the hearts of the youth thru games and object lessons of meaning.
